Pat Sasso, RN, has been named Director of Nursing at The Village at Marymount. Sasso moves into the position with many years of experience and strong ties of nearly 30 years to the Marymount Intergenerational Campus. She came to the campus as a high school student.
After becoming a Registered Nurse, Sasso worked for about 20 years at Marymount Hospital in oncology, medical/surgical, inpatient rehabilitation, and in the Skilled Nursing Unit. Sasso came to The Village at Marymount in December 2006 and she was instrumental in helping to establish the Skilled Care Unit on the first floor when Villa St. Joseph opened in February 2007.
“Pat has a strong focus on positive resident outcomes, understanding the needs of short- and long-term care residents, and providing leadership within the nursing department,” said Suzanne Nall, RN, LNHA, Executive Director of The Village at Marymount.
